  • 1 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tbsp Sweetener of choice e.g., erythritol, monk fruit, stevia
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Butter melted
  • 1 tbsp Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the mug: Choose a microwave-safe mug (12 oz capacity) to ensure the cake has enough room to rise without spilling over.
  • Mix the dry ingredients: Add the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sweetener to the mug. Whisk together until well-combined.
  • Add the wet ingredients: Crack the egg into the mug and add the melted butter, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
  • Microwave: Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for 60-90 seconds. Start checking at 60 seconds to avoid overcooking. The cake is done when it has risen and feels firm to the touch.
  • Cool and serve: Let the cake cool for a minute or two before enjoying. Be careful, as the mug will be hot!
