Ingredients
  

For the Dough:

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Toppings:

  • ½ cup tomato sauce optional
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 cup Kalamata olives pitted and sliced
  • ½ cup artichoke hearts chopped
  • ½ cup roasted red peppers sliced
  • 1 small red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, mix together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
    Add the warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth, then cover it with a damp cloth and let it rise for about 1 hour.
  • Preheat the Oven: While the dough rises, preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • Roll Out the Dough: Once the dough has doubled in size, punch it down and transfer it to a floured surface.
    Roll it out into your desired shape and transfer it to a greased pizza pan.
  • Add Toppings: Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce (optional) on the dough.
    Top with crumbled feta cheese, olives, artichokes, roasted red peppers, onions, and capers.
    Drizzle olive oil over the toppings and sprinkle with oregano and basil.
  • Bake the Pizza: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the toppings are slightly melted.
  • Garnish and Serve: After baking, sprinkle fresh parsley over the pizza.
    Slice and serve immediately.

  • Dough: For a quicker version, you can use store-bought pizza dough or even a gluten-free pizza base if preferred.
