Ingredients
  

  • 1 block 8 oz Feta Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme or preferred herb
  • 1/2 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Cherry Tomatoes optional
  • 1/4 cup Kalamata Olives optional
  • 1-2 slices Lemon optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the block of feta cheese in a medium-sized baking dish.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the feta block, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  • Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper and fresh thyme over the feta. Add the minced garlic.
  • Optionally, add cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, and lemon slices around the feta for added flavor.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the feta is golden and softened, with a creamy center.
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
  • Serve warm with fresh bread, crackers, or vegetables for dipping.

Notes

  • Add-ins: Feel free to experiment by adding different ingredients such as sun-dried tomatoes, olives, or fresh basil.
  • Serving suggestions: Serve with warm pita, fresh veggies, or on top of roasted vegetables or pasta.
  • Vegan Option: You can use plant-based feta cheese for a vegan version of this dish.
