Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Tortilla Chips
  • 1 ½ cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • ½ cup Sliced Jalapeños optional
  • ½ cup Sliced Red Onion optional
  • 1 cup Cooked Ground Beef or Shredded Chicken optional
  • ¼ cup Black Olives sliced (optional)
  • ¼ cup Diced Tomatoes optional
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Cilantro for garnish
  • ¼ cup Sour Cream for serving, optional
  • ¼ cup Guacamole for serving, optional
  • ¼ tsp Chili Powder optional, for extra flavor
  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Prepare the Chips: Spread a layer of tortilla chips evenly in the air fryer basket. Make sure the chips aren’t stacked on top of each other for even crisping.
  • Layer the Nachos: Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the chips. Add your optional toppings like ground beef, chicken, jalapeños, olives, and onions. Season with chili powder and garlic powder if desired.
  • Cook: Place the basket in the air fryer and cook for 4-6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the chips are golden and crispy. Check the nachos halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • Finish the Nachos: Once cooked, remove the nachos from the air fryer. Add fresh toppings like diced tomatoes and cilantro. Serve with sour cream and guacamole for dipping.

  • Chip Layering: Avoid overloading the air fryer basket. Layer the chips evenly for a crispier result.
  • Cheese Variations: Feel free to experiment with different cheese types. For a spicier version, use pepper jack cheese.
