Air Fryer Nacho Bites are a crispy, cheesy, and flavorful snack that’s perfect for any occasion. With minimal ingredients and easy preparation, these bite-sized nachos are made using your air fryer for a healthier alternative to deep-frying. Whether you're serving them at a party, for game day, or as a quick snack, they’re sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Customize them with your favorite toppings for a delicious, satisfying treat.
If using ground beef or chicken, cook the meat in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Break it into small crumbles and season with salt and pepper to taste. Slice the jalapeños.
Assemble the nacho bites:
In the air fryer basket, lay a small handful of tortilla chips in a single layer. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the chips. Add a few pieces of cooked meat (if using) and sliced jalapeños on top of the cheese.
Air fry:
Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Air fry the nacho bites for 3-5 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the chips are crispy. Check halfway through to ensure they aren’t burning.
Serve:
Once the nacho bites are ready, carefully remove them from the air fryer.Serve with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole on the side for dipping.
Notes
Vegetarian Option: For a vegetarian version, replace the meat with black beans or corn.
Customization: Add more toppings like diced tomatoes, green onions, or olives to personalize your nacho bites.
Storage: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer to keep the chips crispy.
Spice Level: Adjust the spiciness by adding more jalapeños or using a spicy cheese blend.
